Neurosurgery

Neurosurgical Service provides the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the spine and brain. The surgeries are performed using a neurosurgical microscope:

❍  Replacement of the intervertebral disc of the spine neck with a prosthesis;

❍ Excision of the intervertebral disc of the lumbar spine - Micro Discectomy;

❍  Decompression of spinal canal stenosis;

❍  Surgical treatment of spondylolisthesis - transpedicular fixation;

❍  Spine prosthesis;

❍  Surgical excision of the spine and spinal cord tumors;

❍ Mini-invasive treatment of vertebral hemangioma – vertebroplasty;

❍  Endovascular treatment of vascular pathologies of the brain: ischemic stroke and sleeping artery stenosis (stenting, thrombectomy);

❍  Surgical treatment of hemorrhagic stroke of the brain;

❍  Excision of a brain tumor;

❍  Surgical treatment of hydrocephalus - ventriculoperitoneal shunt.
